What’s Happening?

TRICON Garage has seemingly confirmed the long-rumored departure of Corey Heim in a new social media post.

Late Wednesday afternoon, in a post on social media, TRICON Garage posted a thank you to 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion Corey Heim.

Though this may be a surprise to some, the rumor mill has long suggested that Heim is expected to see some form of promotion in 2026.

Most rumors suggest that Heim will see some form of commitment start across the NASCAR Craftsman Truck, O’Reilly Auto Parts, and Cup Series. Nonetheless, as of press time, no such plans have been announced for the 23-year-old phenom.

In 2025, Heim won a record-breaking 12 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races, bringing his four-year career total to 23 wins in the series, en route to his first career Championship.

Despite his success, due to the packed NASCAR Cup Series roster at 23XI Racing, of which Heim is signed to a developmental deal, he has yet to see a full-time promotion in his young career. Nonetheless, most expect that he will find his way to full-time action in NASCAR’s highest division in the next two seasons.

Most have theorized that 2026 Craftsman Truck Series Championship Four contender Kaden Honeycutt, who finished out the season with Toyota following his abrupt departure from Niece Motorsports earlier this summer, of which the team claimed he signed with a new OEM and Team for 2026, will take over Heim’s now former ride in 2026.
