What’s Happening?

Kaulig Racing has announced that 2025 ARCA Menards Series champion Brenden “Butterbean” Queen will drive one of the team’s five Ram Tucks during the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Season.

  • This announcement marks not only a major milestone for Kaulig but also Ram, who is making their return to NASCAR after over a decade’s absence from the sport. As part of their hard launch back into the sport, Ram and Kaulig are fielding five trucks, with Queen being the first announced driver.
  • In recent weeks, this signing had become one of the worst-kept secrets in NASCAR, with rumors about Queen’s signing first emerging shortly after Kaulig announced their Ram program in August. Earlier this week, the team even announced that the driver known as Butterbean will finish out the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season in their No. 11 car.
  • Queen made a splash in the national ranks of stock car racing this season with ARCA staple Pinnacle Racing Group. In his rookie season, the 27-year-old won eight races, walking away with the series championship at year’s end.
  • Prior to his time in ARCA, Queen was already a fan favorite of the short-track scene, racing late models across the country. Last year, the Virginia native walked away with the 2024 CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour Championship, an honor also held by notable drivers like Carson Kvapil and Josh Berry.
  • The story of Queen’s stellar debut season in ARCA meshes well with the bombshell return of Ram to NASCAR. After exiting the sport alongside its sister company, Dodge, in the early 2010s, the brand is making a splash as part of a broader goal of returning to the sport for parent company Stellantis.
