- Unlike rumors that the body style change could be more drastic, this is more of an updated look for the Camaro body, which has been used since the introduction of the NASCAR Next Gen in 2022. This is the second revision of the Camaro since its 2018 introduction, and the redesign is a similar move to their 2020 shift from the ZL1 to the ZL1 1LE.
- According to Chevrolet, slight changes were made to the car’s hood power dome, front grille, and rocker panels. Most notable in the change is the ‘Carbon Performance Package,’ a performance upgrade recently introduced for the discontinued Camaro ZL1.
- Rumors of an updated look for the Chevrolet body style have been circulating the brand since the end of the Camaro production line in 2024. Although some thought these changes could be introduced this past season, the OEM instead opted to simply remove the Camaro badges for 2025.
- Alex Bowman tested the car throughout this week as part of a broader horsepower test at Bristol Motor Speedway. Though Chevrolet is introducing these changes for the Cup Series, the OEM has yet to announce changes for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, which also runs the rebadged Camaro body.
