What’s Happening?

JR Motorsports announced on Tuesday that Dale Earnhardt Jr. will return to the driver’s seat NASCAR Xfinity Series at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 20th. Hellmann’s will be the sponsor for the No. 88 car.

• This is the 2nd consecutive season that Earnhardt Jr. made an Xfinity Series start at Bristol. He led 47 laps in the 2023 race before a mechanical issue ended his night early. He won at the track in the Xfinity Series in 2004, which was part one of a weekend sweep of the Xfinity and Cup Series races.
• Hellmann’s sponsorship extends beyond Earnhardt Jr. According to the announcement, Hellmann’s will sponsor JRM through the 2026 season. Justin Allgaier will also fly Hellmann’s colors in 6 to be announced races this season.
• Fans are excited to see Dale Jr. return to the driver’s seat. He still has a major following, and whenever he races, fans turn out.
