- Per ThorSport’s social media post, Crafton, a three-time Craftsman Truck Series champion, will “complete his full-time role after the 2025 season.” This wording makes it unclear whether or not the 49-year-old is retiring or just stepping away from his full-time duties.
- On a secondary note, the team mentioned that Ty Majeski, the 2024 Craftsman Truck Series champion, will move from the team’s No. 98 to the No. 88 next season. The team currently fields five full-time entries, with the No. 66 as a rotational entry for multiple drivers. As of press time, there are no announced plans for the team or the No. 98.
- The No. 88 is ThorSport’s original Craftsman Truck Series entry. It is responsible for 16 of the team’s 28 wins in the series, with Crafton behind the wheel for 15 of those wins. ThorSport first fielded the No. 88 with Terry Cook in 1996, and Crafton debuted in the Menards-sponsored entry in 2000.
- Crafton raced in the No. 88 full-time from 2001 to 2003 before moving to Kevin Harvick Incorporated in 2004. After a lackluster season, Crafton returned to ThorSport, where he has raced since. During their 24 seasons together, Crafton won races for three OEMs and won championships in 2013, 2014, and 2019. Menards has sponsored the entry since 2002.
