23XI President Steve Lauletta told NASCAR reporters Danielle Trotta and Jeff Gluck that 23XI Racing will once again have a third Cup Series car at some point in 2024. Specifics will be announced at a later date.

  • 23XI Racing fielded a third car for a few races in 2023 for two motorsports All-Stars. Travis Pastrana drove for the team at the Daytona 500, and Kamui Kobayashi drove for the team at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.
  • It’s unclear whether or not this ride will be used for the same purpose in 2024. It could be for more motorsports stars or it could be a way to get young Toyota drivers a chance to compete in the Cup Series for a few races.
  • Fans are interested in what this new team will become. Some are already speculating about who could drive the car.
