What’s Happening?

One of the NASCAR Cup Series calendar’s staples is Auto Club Speedway and camping in Auto Club is a good time, just like at any other NASCAR Cup Series track. Here is everything to expect from NASCAR’s official camping notebook.

  • Auto Club Speedway was on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule from 1997 to 2023. The track was sold for most of its land, with plans to covert the remaining land into a half-mile short track.
  • Auto Club previously hosted one Cup date in the beginning of the season. From 2004-2010, the track hosted two Cup races per year.
  • Auto Club is a fan favorite track that many hope to make its return in the future.

Amenities & Highlights

Fans who camp in Atlanta can expect some of the typical camping amenities and a few unique ones.

The campgrounds have sites ranging from 15×40 to a limited number of 20×50. They have access to showers and restrooms, in addition to other RV services. The track offers food selections, and pets are permitted. In addition, a shuttle is available for track access.

Auto Club’s campgrounds include live concerts, roaming events, and a Family Activities Tent. The ACS infield also has a “Pedal Party” for bicycles that have access to the track surface. Track views and WI-FI services are available at the infield sites.
