- Labbé is the 2017 NASCAR Canada Series champion and a NASCAR Xfinity Series veteran with an impressive 159 career starts in NASCAR’s second-highest level. Despite his veteran status, this weekend will mark his debut in NASCAR’s lowest National Touring Series.
- Labbé is an established road course racer in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, making his debut this weekend at the 1.478-mile Lime Rock Park a fitting one. Of his 13 career NASCAR Xfinity Series top-tens, six have come on a road course, including his lone career top-five, a fourth-place finish at the Charlotte Roval in 2020.
- This season, Labbé has three NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, all with SS-Green Light Racing. Driving the team’s No. 07 entry, Labbé scored his best finish of the season, 14th, in his first race of the season at Circuit of the Americas in March.
- This weekend will also serve as the Truck Series debut for several other drivers at Lime Rock Park. The road course, located in Lakeville, CT, hosted the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in 2010 and 2011 and the ARCA Menards Series East from 1993 to 2010 but has yet to host a NASCAR National Series race.
- Other notable drivers like IMSA’s Jordan Taylor and Trans Am Series regular Thomas Annunziata, alongside a few lesser-known drivers, are also making their series debuts this weekend. The St. Albert, Quebec, native will not be the only part-time international driver racing this weekend, as Mildura, Victoria, Australia’s Cam Waters is returning to Truck Series action as well.
