Atlanta Motor Speedway saw close racing, resulting in Joey Logano locking himself into the Round of 12. What did Eric Estepp think about it in this week’s Groovy Gauge Presented by Lectric eBikes?

• Atlanta, like always, was a fun race for the fans but difficult for the drivers. As a one-of-a-kind hybrid track, Atlanta makes for a unique experience. Drivers must cautiously draft in a pack while factoring in handling and choosing the right line to race.
• The large-pack racing causes drama for teams and drivers. Notably, teams of the same manufacturer have to work together whether they want to or not.
• Joey Logano earned this win. The top ten finishers are all competitive drivers, with nine being playoff drivers. We may not see that at other chaotic races in the playoffs, resulting in this race having an exciting payoff for fans.
