- Heim, who races full-time for Tricon Garage in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has already made two starts in 23XI’s part-time No. 67. The 22-year-old scored a career best 13th in his season debut at Kansas Speedway and 37th in his second start at Nashville two weeks later.
- Unfortunately, Heim failed to qualify for his third start at the Chicago Street race after he hit the wall during qualifying. Robinhood, which sponsored Heim at Kansas and Chicago, will return to the No. 67 at Richmond.
- Heim, despite 14 Truck Series wins (16 career wins) in three full-time seasons, cannot get a full-time ride in the NASCAR Xfinity or Cup Series. After some uncertainty about his future with Toyota, 23XI, with which he made a Cup Series start in 2024, announced in late February that they had signed him to a developmental contract.
- Through 16 Truck Series races, Heim has maintained a series high in wins, top fives, top tens, and poles. Even though he has a 143-point lead over second-place Chandler Smith, Heim is not expected to be promoted to 23XI next season.
- As of press time, Heim will not be the only uncharted 23XI entry at Richmond. Pending an ongoing injunction, the team lost charters for all three of their NASCAR Cup Series teams in early July as part of their long-running antitrust lawsuit with NASCAR.
